Hi ladies- I love everything you do for our school, students, teachers ect. I wish there was a way to be able to pay the minimum amount yet if someone wanted to donate more they could. If I wanted to donate $50, you could take the $8 for my membership and the rest could be used towards something else.

Awesome picture ladies! Thank you for all you have done and continue to do!👏👏👏

For those of us parents that don't know all of you, would you please post your names left to right from above photo? Thanks for your service!

Every child deserves to participate in community events. We understand that some of these events can be a challenge for kiddos who get overwhelmed or overstimulated. This is why the PTA decided to include a sensory station at the events we participate in. Tonight is our first night with the station set up. If you attend the National Night Out event and your kiddo needs a calm and safe space for any reason, please feel free to stop by. We have noise canceling headphones, sensory bins, fidget toys, various seating options, and more. ... ExpandSee Less

Welcome Wednesday #4

This is Casey Bernhardt and she is the new PTA President!

What ages are your kids? Atticus who is 7 years and Trey who is 16 years

What do you do for work? General Manager for Chipotle South Burlington

Why are you part of the PTA? I believe every voice matters from the kids to the parents. As parents we see what goes on in our schools and our communities, we see the changes we want to make. However there is a whole other side that needs a voice and that is the children in our communities. I want to be the voice for those kids that feel like they don't have a say in what goes on. I joined the PTA to be a voice for those who feel they don't have one.

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be? That's a easy one CHOCOLATE

How do you spend your weekends? Spending time with my Husband, Jeremy and our families. We love going to the Milton dog park with Nova and Bailey. Going fishing or for a nice drive. We love getting together with family and watching the kids play.

Have you binge watched any good shows lately? Not shows but I have been Binge reading! I have been stuck on two authors lately who I have been blowing through their books. Leia Stone and Jaymin Eve are two amazing female writers who have really changed the way I look at books.

Do you have any pets? I have 2 amazing golden retrievers Nova and Bailey, They are 2 years old and brother and sister. I also have 3 cats Silver, Marshmallow. He should really be listed as a dog because he acts like one, and then there is Serious aka Serious Black, Atticus loves Harry Potter so it was only fitting.

Membership Monday #4

PTA dues support our work to strengthen connections between your family, your child’s classmates and their families, and teachers to build a thriving and inclusive community for everyone. While some of the work done by PTA may appear purely social – including events like Family Game Night or The Milton Community Fun Run in COLOR that are organized to strengthen the school community – much of PTA’s work focuses on funding essential school resources and curriculum needs.
